Wild Warrior is an Eco-conscious activewear brand for rebels and bad-ass warriors. Designed and produced in the UK and Europe, we believe in living life with balance and have sustainability at our core. We offer a range of high-quality and eco-friendly activewear and streetwear for women.

For us, Sustainability has a lot to do with changing fast fashion as learned behaviour… It's about re-educating people to understand that slow fashion should be the norm… and not the niche for brands.

Sustainability is about appreciating clothing, buying for longevity, even if that means having to spend a little more, that spend should last longer. Clothing should be versatile and stand the test of time. Value shouldn’t be placed in cheap, throw away items that are past their best after a few wears. 

Value should be placed in the businesses that are making the effort to source the eco-friendly fabrics, stop mass producing clothes, and have a sustainable mission.

Creating a truly sustainable brand is a journey, a journey built on strong foundations, working with sustainability as a focus from the very beginning. Even if the steps to perfection are slow… they will be steady and focussed.

Our sustainability priorities: at this stage:

• We reduce fashion waste by creating our clothes with Longevity & Versatility of style and function, we don't do seasonal.
• We dont mass produce garments - our embroidery range is all made to order, and the core range will be produced in small exclusive quantities.
• We use eco-friendly and sustainable fabrics - for us these are degradable, recycled and recyclable fabrics… all much better for the environment.
• Currently, our core range is produced in the UK.
• We have intentionally sourced and now work with like-minded production partners - these are companies that also have sustainability at their core.

We are at the start of the Wild Warrior journey, we would like it to grow so that we can do more.. We aim to team up with charities like 1% for the planet, Or have a carbon offset partnership like a tree with every purchase…and we will get there… our dreams are big and we will work hard to make them come true and do it in the right way 🙂

Wild Warrior's activewear is made from sustainable materials, such as recycled polyester, organic cotton, and degradable polyamides. We also use eco-friendly production processes and packaging to minimise our environmental impact.

Sustainability is at the heart of Wild Warrior and being eco-friendly is our priority. Here’s a breakdown of our products so you're completely in the know.

Embroidery Range

From our suppliers website: 

“Our Products are made from Organic Cotton because we believe conventional cotton can not be ethically certified. The cotton seeds have not been genetically modified (NON- GMO) and are grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides, plus organic cotton farming uses natural methods which helps the soil and create biodiversity. Some products have recycled polyester in the composition that is made from post-consumer plastic PET bottles and is GOTS Certified and audited by the Fair Wear Foundation. Others have a small percentage of elastane.”

Core Range

The core fabric for the leggings and bra tops is called 5475 UP, it is part of the CO2 control family from Santa Constancia, made with a biodegradable yarn called Amni Soul Eco.

For the mesh panels, we use dead stock mesh.

Packaging 

Our packaging is 100% recycled and recyclable, so don’t throw it away! The tissue paper makes great gift wrapping!

• Custom Masking Tape is made from FSC-certified crepe paper and is curb-side recyclable after use.
• Stickers are made from FSC-certified, uncoated paper and compostable after use.  Tissue Paper is made from FSC-certified, recycled paper and is fully home-compostable after use.
• Our Boxes are cardboard, because they are widely and easily recyclable. 

We partner with production companies and other working partners that share our values and goals to move the fashion industry forward by focusing on sustainability across the board. By working with them we also indirectly support many other charitable causes and projects that help build a healthy future.

Our embroidery range garments are made in Bangladesh where we partner with an incredibly forward thinking company who is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation. They are focused on respecting the rights of the men and women that create the garments and provide them the means to acquire new skills and receive education and training. All of these factories are GOTS-certified and audited by the Fair Wear Foundation. Read more here.

The embroidery designs are applied to the garments in Glasgow, UK by Wild & Kind, a small local business who have big hearts and awesome intentions of their own. They take a slow fashion approach, sourcing only sustainable garments and using eco-friendly print & embroidery processes. All orders are custom made, therefore reducing waste.

The Core range is produced in London, UK. With our production partner LCE who specialises in sourcing eco-friendly materials and finding ethical manufacturing solutions. They are committed to saving the planet and making it an awesome place to live in. They have assisted us to make sustainable choices during the design process and sourcing materials for the core range.

Caring for your garment properly will make it last, so you can enjoy it for longer. Here are a few tips to care for your things more sustainably and general washing guidelines:

1. Wear your clothes for longer, wash them less often.
2. Read individual garments care guides, these could be different.
3. Generally, We recommend machine washing on an eco-cycle at 30° or cold.
4. Wash your garments inside out.
5. Use eco-detergents with sustainable certs
6. Use micro plastic laundry bags like: Guppyfriend.com
7. Air dry, don't tumble.
8. Use a medium iron inside out, or better still, steam instead of iron to reduce direct contact with the fabric **Please DO NOT iron the Bomber Jacket!
9. Store your clothes thoughtfully - clean, dry storage, away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. And make sure your clothes have space to breathe.
10. Learn how to repair your garments, or make friends with a local seamstress, small repairs will give even more life to your clothes.

Embroidery Range

The embroidery range of hoodies, zoodies, T-shirts and jackets are all generously sized. The feedback that we have had from customers is that the fit is relaxed and comfortable. If you like to opt for a baggy-look for these garments, then go up a size.

Our joggers are true to size, the waistband has a drawstring to tighten up and they can feel fitted over the thigh area depending on your silhouette.

All of our beanie hats and caps are one size.

Core Range 

We have designed our core range of leggings and bra tops to be true to size. However, we have found the sizing to be quite generous for some. We would recommend selecting a size that is snug to hold you in and streamline for activity. We would not suggest opting for a loose fit for our leggings and bra tops.

We have also included real-life examples of size and fit in the product listings, each model's sizing and garment size is available for you as a guide.

At the moment, Wild Warrior ships its sustainable activewear within the UK and EU. Shipping is free within the UK, rates and delivery times to EU may vary depending on the destination country, this will be calculated at checkout.

Wild Warrior offers a 14-day return policy for sustainable activewear. Items must be in new and unused condition with all tags and labels attached. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or the wrong item was shipped. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full information.
